What does sizing and installation include?

Every job starts with the basin: its area, depth, level range, the load going in and what the discharge licence asks for, which you send us with your enquiry. From that we size the aerators on oxygen demand and on mixing, and we show you the working.

Floating units go in without draining the lagoon. Each one is held by three or four cables to posts or anchors on the bank so it can rise and fall with the level, and the power cable is floated and strain relieved.

What do we need to size an aerator?

• The basin area, depth and how much the level changes
• What flows in, and the limits in your discharge licence
• The power supply at the bank
• Where units can be anchored and how the site is reached
